Inter-religious harmony is a social condition in which all religious groups live together without prejudice to their basic rights to carry out their religious obligations. Every adherent of a good religion must live in harmony and peace, because inter-religious harmony is unlikely to arise from blind fanaticism and an attitude of indifference to the rights of diversity and the feelings of others.
Harmony between religious communities must be maintained so that conflicts do not occur between religious communities. Especially the Indonesian people who are multicultural in religion, must live in peace, help each other, and not be hostile so that religion can unify the Indonesian nation which indirectly provides stability and progress for the country. The importance of harmony among religious communities is the creation of a harmonious society in peace, helping each other, and not being hostile so that religion can unify the Indonesian nation and provide stability and progress for the country.
The way to maintain and realize inter-religious harmony is to hold inter-religious dialogue about inter-religious relations. In its implementation, religion is not just carrying out rituals/ceremonies, but can provide answers to other people. Different beliefs/beliefs still lead to the same path, namely to focus on God Almighty is one attitude that shows religious maturity. Instilling religious maturity in every religious community should be an effective necessity, because it will have an attitude of being able to accommodate their complaints, protect, guide, and shape/develop their personality. Such a person will be difficult to find in life, because of the high quality of religion or religious maturity one has so that in behavior one always considers the aspects of justice and the common good. In carrying out religious teachings, always adhere to ethics and human morality. This is what is called religious maturity, where every behavior always considers ratios, ethics and morals, always uses reason and intellect to solve life’s problems in peace and kindness.
