This research shows that the participation and political awareness of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD), especially women, needs to be continuously increased, by conducting gender-oriented education and political participation. This is based on statistical data that the level of participation and political awareness of SAD women is still low. There are several reasons, one of which is the Gender Equality Index (IKG) between men and women among SAD experiencing high inequality. This inequality has finally resulted in the voices of SAD women increasingly not being accommodated. Even though a number of studies have shown that if gender inequality can be suppressed, then the economy of a certain country (society) can be increased and will have an impact on increasing the GDP of a society. In addition, increasing gender equality is also one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In fact, the values of the SDGs have been agreed upon by countries in the world in a convention held by the United Nations (UN). In fact, several studies have shown that countries that have a high Gender Equality Index (IKG) have succeeded in boosting societal progress in various aspects of the economy, government, health, and education.
