In the Indonesian community, especially in the city of Jambi, the practice of ruqyah Syar’iyyah shows a significant development due to the discovery of many places to practice ruqyah Syar’iyyah in the city of Jambi. The community also shows a very high interest in ruqyah Syar’iyyah for healing diseases caused by magic and so on.

This research is a field research (Field Research) that uses the Living Qur’an method in which this research discusses how the verses of the Qur’an live and develop in society. In this study, the authors examined the data directly related to the research location which was determined by the type of qualitative descriptive research. This study provides a descriptive description of MABRUQ (Markaz Bekam Ruqyah) and also the verses used in dealing with ailments caused by magic and its practices in healing.

The results of this study can be concluded that, in the process of implementing ruqyah therapy at MABRUQ it is ruqyah Syar’iyyah because the therapist uses the verses of the Qur’an and the hadith of the Prophet in practice and its implementation is in accordance with Islamic Shari’a.
