This dedication and research was carried out considering that Indonesia is a country whose population is very diverse in terms of ethnicity, culture and religion. Several world religions can coexist and develop in Indonesia. Therefore, the formulation of the problem is How is the implementation of strengthening the aqidah of converts carried out by the Jambi Regional MCI? What are the obstacles in the implementation of strengthening the aqidah of converts carried out by the Jambi Regional MCI? and what are the efforts made to overcome obstacles in the implementation of strengthening the aqidah of converts carried out by the Jambi Regional MCI? By using a qualitative descriptive method.
The results of this dedication and research are: the implementation of strengthening the aqidah of converts carried out by MCI Regional Jambi is carried out through several stages, namely: (1) Stages of setting goals for giving reinforcement, (2) Stages of providing faith strengthening by means of: religious guidance, Islamic counseling , and provide religious understanding by paying attention to principles, elements, and strategies for strengthening faith; (3) Stages of evaluating the strengthening of faith. Obstacles in the implementation of strengthening the aqidah of converts carried out by the Jambi Regional MCI were internal and external. For internal constraints, among others, such as: there is still a minimum number of human resources in the Jambi Regional, and programs that have not been structured. Meanwhile, from an external perspective, these include: Limited facilities and infrastructure, internal conflicts within the converts’ families, intimidation by certain parties, difficulty in adjusting coaching time, and difficulties in terms of reading Arabic script and memorizing prayers and practical worship. Efforts were made to overcome obstacles in the implementation of strengthening the faith of converts carried out by MCI Regional Jambi by improving internal and external conditions, namely by taking steps: designing the time of the faith strengthening program flexibly, and by embracing stakeholders to be able to make a positive contribution to the institution Jambi Regional MCI.
